Privacy policy

Thingify uses the information you provide to create your preview, prepare a quote, fulfill your order, and respond to you. Contact hello@thingyify.io about privacy or to request access, correction, or deletion of your information.
Information we collect
When you upload a photo, we store it and the generated design. If you enter an email for a free preview, we use it to send the requested preview link or a failure notice. This does not subscribe you to marketing, and we do not send that address to advertising platforms just because you requested a preview email. Quote requests include your email, requested size, delivery location, and notes. Orders include your name, contact and shipping details, accepted quote, and payment status. Stripe handles card information; we do not store your full card number.
We also process technical information such as IP address, browser details, service logs, and request timing to operate the site, prevent abuse, and enforce free-preview limits. Your browser remembers your design link so you can return to it. Design links grant access to that design: share them only with people you intend to have access.
Service providers
We use Google Gemini to generate image previews, Amazon Web Services for hosting, storage, and email, and Stripe for checkout and payment processing. They receive the information needed to provide those services. We share the design and delivery information needed with production and shipping providers to fulfill an order. We do not use uploaded photos in public marketing without your permission.
Advertising measurement and choices
Our own visit diagnostics record campaign labels, a random browser-visit identifier, mobile or desktop layout, and steps such as opening an upload, submitting a preview, errors, and viewing a result. Accepted uploads are linked to their preview and order outcomes. We do not record keystrokes, form contents, photos, or session video in these diagnostics. Visit identifiers last up to 30 minutes in the current browser tab; diagnostic events are retained for up to 30 days. These diagnostics honor the same advertising-measurement opt-out and Global Privacy Control below.
We use TikTok Pixel and its Events API to measure visits, quote requests, and purchases from advertising. This may send event information, cookie or click identifiers, IP address, browser details, and hashed contact identifiers to TikTok. Hashing does not make that information anonymous. We do not send your uploaded photos, shipping address, or private design link to TikTok.
You can disable advertising measurement using . We honor Global Privacy Control. Opting out does not prevent previews, quotes, or checkout. It stops future advertising events from this browser; contact us about previously collected data. Browser preferences apply to the browser where you make the choice.
During our preview-email test, a signed browser cookie keeps you in the same version for up to seven days. We record the test version in visit diagnostics, without your email. Visitors who opt out of advertising measurement receive the flow without an email requirement and are not enrolled in this test.
Retention
Preview-email delivery records are removed with the expired preview or after 30 days. Sent delivery-queue records are removed after 30 days.
Unpurchased designs are normally scheduled for removal after 14 days, with extensions for active quotes. Temporary job storage also has a 90-day cleanup limit. Paid order records and retained designs are kept for fulfillment, support, accounting, and dispute resolution as needed. Email correspondence may remain in our support mailbox; temporary inbound email copies are removed after 30 days. Technical logs and backups may take longer to expire.
Advertising delivery payloads and checkout matching information expire after 48 hours; limited delivery records remain for up to 30 days to prevent duplicate events. Our ad click cookie lasts up to 48 hours, and our privacy preference cookie lasts up to one year. TikTok applies its own retention rules to information already received.
Your choices
Upload only photos you have permission to use, and avoid sensitive information in photos or notes. You can request deletion of an unused design and its quote request. Some order, accounting, security, or dispute records may need to be retained. We will explain any retention that applies to your request. The shop is intended for adults making purchases, not for children to submit personal information.
